If the app says "Connected" but pages will not load, the cause is usually another proxy layer left on the device.
- Fully quit other VPN/proxy apps (Clash, SS, UCSS…). Disconnecting is not enough — quit the app.
- Turn off the system proxy. Windows: Settings → Network & Internet → Proxy. Mac: System Settings → Network → Wi-Fi Details → Proxies.
- Disable Chrome proxy extensions such as SwitchyOmega — they only break the browser. Test with Edge or Safari.
- Set DNS to 8.8.8.8 if only some sites fail.
- Quit the app completely and reopen it
- Restart the device
- Uninstall and reinstall (your account and subscription are stored on the server)
On Windows, missing runtimes are the usual cause — install Visual C++ (x86/x64) and .NET 8.0 Desktop Runtime from the download page.
- Switch to a different server
- Switch between WiFi and mobile data
- Disconnect, quit the app fully, reopen and connect again
- Try a different protocol (IKEv2 / OpenVPN / V2Ray)
- Check whether your subscription has expired
- China Mobile → KT servers
- China Unicom → SK servers
- China Telecom → try both KT and SK
Refresh the server list in the app and try them in that order.
- Your account e-mail
- Device type and app version
- Country and ISP
- Server name and protocol you tried
- Screenshot of the error
- Disconnect first and test your raw internet speed
- Try a different server
- Switch between WiFi and mobile data
- Restart the app
- Power-cycle your router for 2–3 minutes
Brief 1–2 second drops that recover automatically are almost always weak home WiFi, not the server.
🔎 Check: disconnect, then ping your router. If packets drop without the tunnel, WiFi is the cause.
- Use an Ethernet cable — nearly always fixes it
- Move closer to the router
- Use 2.4GHz (better wall penetration than 5GHz)
- Add a repeater, mesh router or powerline adapter
- Keep IKEv2 — it recovers from short drops best
- Try OpenVPN instead of IKEv2
- Temporarily disable antivirus/firewall to compare
- Uninstall other VPN apps — leftover drivers conflict
- On laptops set the power plan to High performance
Cause — a firewall or router is blocking the ports.
- Allow UDP 500 and 4500 in Windows Firewall inbound rules
- Enable IPsec Passthrough on your router
- Test on a phone hotspot — corporate/hotel networks often block this
- Meanwhile use OpenVPN, SSTP or V2Ray
Cause — authentication failed: wrong credentials or an expired subscription.
- Re-check your e-mail ID and password
- Copy-paste often adds stray spaces — type it manually
- Reset the password at titanvpn.kr
- Check your expiry date on My Page
- Uninstall Titan VPN completely from Control Panel
- Restart the PC
- Install the latest version from the download page
- Settings → Network → Status → Network reset, then reboot
- Remove every adapter containing miniport in Device Manager — they are recreated on reboot
If your IP is Korean but DNS queries leak abroad, Korean geo-services may block you.
- Run the DNS leak self-test
- If foreign DNS appears, run the DNS leak fix tool as Administrator
- Reconnect
- Turn off Secure DNS (DoH) in your browser
The number of devices that can be connected at the same time on one account, regardless of platform.
You may install the app on as many devices as you like — only concurrent connections are limited.
Once the limit is reached, new connections are refused — or the oldest session is dropped, depending on settings.
If the app is not closed properly (sudden network loss, device powered off), the server still counts the session. It clears automatically after 5–10 minutes.
- Open the app on that device and press Disconnect
- Or wait 5–10 minutes
- Ask support to reset your sessions if urgent
Upgrade to a plan with more lines on the price page. Contact support about handling remaining time.
- Go to titanvpn.kr
- Click Forgot password
- Enter your e-mail and follow the reset link
Your e-mail address is your ID. Check the address used for payment, or contact support with your payment receipt.
- Check whether your subscription expired (you can still sign in)
- Check the simultaneous-device limit
- Retype the password — pasted spaces break the connection but not the login
- Try another server or protocol
- Check spam
- Check Gmail's Promotions tab
- Capitalisation does not matter
- "Google security alert" mails are unrelated
- Refresh after a minute or two
Still missing? Send us your sign-up e-mail and support will activate the account manually.
Just press Login once more — nothing is wrong with your account.
The app fetches a session from the server on first contact; tapping Login before that finishes shows this message. Press OK and log in again.
- Quit the app fully and reopen it
- Make sure the device clock is set automatically
- Reinstall if it keeps repeating
Usually a typo or a different e-mail address.
- Check the spelling and the domain
- Check that autofill did not substitute another address
- Confirm against your payment record
- Open Device Manager (Win+X)
- Right-click every adapter containing miniport → Uninstall device
- Restart the PC — the adapters are recreated automatically
- Reconnect with IKEv2
- Make sure Windows date/time is set automatically
- Run Windows Update to refresh root certificates — essential on a freshly installed PC
- Reinstall the latest app version
- Run the "FIX" tool from the download page as Administrator
- Close security suites such as 360
- Uninstall other VPN software (Panda, SSTAP, JSVPN…) — leftover drivers conflict
- Allow the Titan app through the firewall
- Settings → Network → Network reset, then reboot
TikTok reads the country code of the SIM at launch. A Chinese SIM overrides a Korean IP.
- Best: remove the SIM and use WiFi only
- Otherwise: airplane mode + WiFi + connected
- Disable all Chinese lines on dual-SIM / eSIM devices
- Delete the TikTok app
- Reinstall with the SIM removed and the tunnel connected
- Launch it for the first time
- System language: Korean
- Region: South Korea
- Time zone: Seoul (GMT+9)
- Deny location permission to TikTok
Accounts created or long-used in China may have their region pinned to the account. Create a new account with steps ①–③ already in place.
- iPhone: install from the App Store with a Korean Apple ID
- Android: Google Play (Korean account) or the official APK
A macOS update has reset the approval for the network system extension. The app reports "connected" but no traffic passes.
- Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security (or General → Login Items & Extensions) and allow the "TITAN VPN" extension
- Disconnect and restart the Mac
- Reconnect using a different server or protocol (IKEv2 ↔ OpenVPN)
- If it still fails, delete the app and reinstall from the download page
- Run the installer and dismiss the warning
- Open System Settings → Privacy & Security
- Scroll down and click "Open Anyway" for the blocked app
- Run the installer again
Mac builds can differ in which protocols they offer depending on where they were downloaded from.
- Remove the current app
- Download
titan.pkgfrom the download page and install it - Check the protocol list again
- Fully quit the other VPN/proxy app — disconnecting is not enough
- Clear all proxies under System Settings → Network → Wi-Fi Details → Proxies
- Reboot and reconnect
Press OK and log in once more — this is not an account problem. The app needs to fetch a session first.
- Switch server
- Use IKEv2 — it recovers from brief drops best
- Sleep mode disconnects the tunnel — extend the sleep timer
- Use a wired adapter if WiFi is weak
- Intel and Apple Silicon Macs — both supported, same installer
- BootCamp — you are running Windows, so install the Windows app
- Parallels and other VMs — works, but can be unstable depending on the network mode. Installing the Mac app directly on macOS is more reliable
- Switch to a different server

- Disconnect when using only WeChat
- Look for split-tunnel / "direct connect for China sites" settings
- Otherwise try a different server or protocol
- Switch server — speeds vary a lot between servers
- Fully quit and reopen the YouTube app
- Set quality manually to around 720p

- Turn off Secure DNS (DoH) in the browser
- Disable proxy extensions
- Run the DNS leak self-test
- On Windows run the DNS leak fix tool as Administrator
